First time visiting Hohentauern and this cute, family restaurant in Hohentauern. Sat with my family.on a working day, service was friendly,the waitress was helpful and recommended desserts ,cakes and coffee great!Unfortunatelly, quite the opposite experience on a Sunday. Waited 25 min and sadly they didn't want to serve us.People came after we have been sitting for 25 min and immediately got coffee,beer, except or us! I was very disappointed, probably should learn German-it helped when all the rest of the customers ordered in German and got served immediately.

A small town and a place in the middle of a very scenic route. The food was just outstanding, the chef who makes the food with a lot of passion and love. We had the beetroot soup, the pasta with spinach stuffing and it was outstanding . The cheesecake is homemade and a must must have . Great food and happy to have visited.

Spent a wonderful week of ski vacation here whith my family. The hotel is clean, comfortable; with very kind owners and staff. The kitchen is ambitious, we had a half board with buffet in the morning and 3 courses every dinner; fine variety of food, including vegetarian, meat, fish, everyone should find their choice. Every dishes prepared with care, delicious and good looking. (We had a fondue night, where we cooked for ourselves, not cheese but a pot full of meat soup; we've cooked small meat peaces in it and got very good home made sauces and dips.) The staff and the owners are always present, have a smile for everyone and taking care of the kids also. There's one ski lift right beside the hotel, unfortunately not the easiest part of the ski resort but all the other tracks can be easily accessed for a bit more experienced skiers. A good choice for a familiy trip, thank you Haas family!

We stayed over the New Year in 2015 and enjoyed it so much we returned in 2016. The rooms are fine and clean, and the location great for reaching nearby skiing areas or going for long winter walks.||||The big plus though is the wonderful food and the friendly staff (from the owner on down). We were on half board - the evening meals in particular were super: tasty, creative, look superb too. The New Year's Eve buffet was fantastic. ||||Highly recommend.

The three of us ate here at ‘schnitzel-abend’ on Monday, so we had… schnitzel! Wiener and Hühne, competing for the best tasting schnitzel ever, super light fluffy crunchy coating. The accompanying salad ‘Steiermark’ style was just delicious, filled with at least 10 different ingredients amongst which were giant Käfer beans. Panna cotta with cherry compote dessert confirmed the quality level of the kitchen. If you combine all that with the very friendly and fast service this is a must go restaurant for anyone!

I would love to come back and use the Restaurant's services, because menü and philosophy is attractive and approach professional and attentive.

Unfortunately, we have not realized that 14:10 is too late for serving lunch at Passhöhe Restaurant; kitchen operates only between 11 and 14 o'clock. It's transparently stated on Passhöhe's website, so we can't really complain, just to respect this model and adapt if possible.

We stayed in Hohentauern Ferienhof and had dinner with Christmas in Hotel Passhoehe. The owners are also the owners from Hohentauern Ferienhof and they really were a great help for us. At the day we arrived (Christmas Eve) We thought the stores would be open untill 16.00 but they already closed at 14.00 so we didn't had any food and drinks for the next three days....... When we arrived in the hotel the owners were really kind to give us al kind of food and drinks to come through the Christmas days. At the 2nd Christmas day we had dinner at Passhoehe and this was really great. These people really understand how to threat there guest. They are born for there job. Good food, good wines and excellent service and not only during dinner but during the whole week. Thank you!!!!
