More than 2 hrs waiting but the bus is not here yet. Bought a ticket from Los Angeles to Oakland. My bus was scheduled for departure at 3pm. It is currently 5:30pm and there is no bus in sight. It's been 2 hours. I took the bus from Oakland to Los Angeles earlier in the weekend and it got to the stop 2 hours late. There is no way to track the bus or have any of my family members track the bus. I just received an email stating that the bus will arrive late and it gave an approximate time of departure, yet we are way beyond the amount of time and the bus still isn't here. Wont be taking megabus again.

I love the low cost price of travel on a luxury coach bus. The buses have plenty of leg room with reclining seat backs. AC plugs located at the seats so you can charge your phone or your laptop. Screened and trusted drivers that you feel comfortable driving the bus on your trip. The big thing to remember is the 50 Lb. limit on your luggage bag. Its the same as the airline. Every trip I take there is always someone with a 80 to 85 pound 27 inch suite case someone packed. It's busting at the seam and you just know someone had to sit on the lid just to zip it shut. Wake up people. It said on the website 50. Not 500 pounds. Do not choose a second rate company when you can travel in style. Enjoy. I do every 2 weeks on my round trip to Las Vegas.

Their customer service is insulting, but their drivers are great.

While attempting to communicate with customer service about a missed bus, the representative treated me like I was stupid. They weren’t able to refund my missed ticket or transfer the balance to a future purchase - but that wasn’t what bothered me. The person on the phone disrespected me by treating me as if I was stupid. Missing a bus is a dumb mistake, but terrible customer service is when you make me feel like a stupid person.

Horrible buses! Horrible customer service!

I rarely write bad reviews, but this one definitely deserves it.

my partner and I were riding from Oakland to LA. The bus was in bad shape to begin with as the suspension was terrible, making it feel like we were riding a bucking bull on the highway.

Our bus broke down in San Jose and all the passengers were made to get off the bus and wait over an hour in 95 degree weather. We were given very little information of what to expect to happen next and were given vague times of when the next bus would arrive. This is also not the first time I’ve been on a megabus that has broken down.

After waiting an hour we decided to reserve a Flixbus in downtown San Jose and walked half a mile with our bags to catch the next bus to LA. The Flixbus was on time, clean, and spacious - I definitely recommend them.

I called megabus 3 times after this experience requesting a refund and they have refused to give a refund each time saying "sometimes the busses have complications and we cannot offer a refund at this time."

I used to really like Megabus, but will not be riding it ever again.

Also, they advertise WiFi, but I’ve never been on a bus that had functional WiFi and I have ridden dozens of their busses all over the country.

I made two trips, one from LA to San Francisco and another one from San Francisco to LA, the first one was perfect, the bus was on time and also even we arrived like 15 min earlier than the ticket said. In the second one the bus got delayed 30 min, but they have really good prices on the tickets and in my unique experience I’ll recommend them!

I am traveling the 2:15 PM from Vegas to LA 5/14/19. I never had a bad experience until today. The bus driver is so rude. Cursing at the passengers. So unprofessional and make the mega charter busline look very bad. The Mega luggage handler "Anthony" was so nice and professional. He should've transported us. I love using the Mega busline but I'm hoping not to experienced what I experienced today in the future.

I don't like to fly, there are no trains and I can't drive too far, so the bus will have to do if I want to go to Cali to see family I left behind. The Bolt Bus was better, but they've discontinued service from Vegas to Cali. Megabus trip is a longer ride and cost a little more, but it's worth it. Not too particular about the Barstow stop but it's okay I guess.
